This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of complex data centre projects, from inception to completion, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end data centre construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle. Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting project milestones, risks, and achievements. Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met or exceeded. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Project Manager in data centre construction or a similar environment. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Familiarity with data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and network systems. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Day-to-Day Oversee daily operations of data centre construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review and approve project plans and specifications. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns. Track project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial accountability and cost control. Resolve any conflicts or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, maintaining a focus on solutions and outcomes.
