Responsibilities The Transportation Coordinator/Patient Transport Driver is responsible for planning and organizing appointment scheduling for all residents and ensuring transportation is arranged to those various appointments as director and in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards. This role requires that the selected candidate be a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) / Elder Care Aide (ECA) in good standing in the state of Texas. Qualifications Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record that meets company policy. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or Certified Elderly Care Assistant (ECA). Maintain an approved DOT Medical Card. Successful completion of required Driver education modules as provided for by the company. Must be highly organized and able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
