Reporting Lead

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Reporting Lead in Seattle, WA. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Reporting Lead to own the financial reporting strategy and define the future-state reporting architecture supporting General Ledger and Consolidation. This role will lead key reporting design decisions, integrations, data-model requirements, and user experience considerations as part of a large-scale SAP transformation. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and develop the financial reporting strategy for General Ledger and Consolidation
- Define reporting architecture, user experience, and future-state reporting requirements
- Lead reporting design workshops and drive key reporting decisions and documentation
- Define the approach for transitioning financial reporting from legacy systems to SAP
- Evaluate downstream reporting requirements and integrations with third-party reporting applications
- Define data requirements and financial reporting models needed to support downstream applications
- Develop functional specifications for reporting integrations and data flows
- Coordinate data mappings and reporting changes associated with new SAP General Ledger structures
- Partner with Finance, Data, Technical, and Reporting teams to ensure financial information flows accurately between systems
- Ensure reporting designs support financial consolidation and management reporting requirements
- Document reporting requirements, architecture decisions, dependencies, and system specifications
- Identify reporting risks, gaps, and downstream impacts and coordinate resolution across project teams
- Support development of future-state reporting architecture beyond initial implementation phases
- Maintain alignment between financial reporting requirements, system design, and business objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
- Extensive financial reporting experience
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP or Finance transformation initiatives
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP reporting environments
- Experience with SAP data and reporting architecture
- Experience designing financial reporting solutions supporting General Ledger and Consolidation
- Experience defining functional requirements and specifications for system integrations
- Strong understanding of financial data structures, mappings, and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent project leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to coordinate complex requirements across Finance, Data, and Technology teams
- SAP S/4HANA transformation experience
- SAP Group Reporting experience
- SAP Business Data Cloud experience
- Experience integrating SAP financial data with enterprise reporting platforms
- Experience with Cognos, BlackLine, Workiva, or similar financial reporting and close systems
- Experience supporting financial reporting migrations from legacy ERP platforms
- Experience developing Key Decision Documents and Functional Design Specifications
