This 13-week travel RN assignment offers the opportunity to support neonates and pediatric patients needing higher-level care while gaining valuable ground and air transport experience in a leading Portland healthcare setting. Job Details Location: Portland, OR 97227 Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 1, 2026 Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend, with occasional additional coverage as needed Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Charting System: Epic Setting: NICU Transport / Mobile ICU for neonates and pediatric patients Job Requirements Active Oregon RN license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting at submission Washington RN license or Compact RN license required prior to start At least 3 years of RN experience, with recent neonatal and pediatric transport experience Flight and/or mobile transfer experience required for consideration BLS, PALS, and NRP certification required Epic experience required Comfort working alongside an RT partner and EMS teams during ground and air transports Strong skills in neonatal critical care transport, pediatric transport nursing, airway management, and resuscitation Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality transport care for neonates and pediatric patients requiring a higher level of care Support physician-directed transports across Oregon and Southwest Washington Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy and emergency transport partners during ground and air responses Perform advanced transport nursing interventions such as IV placement, intubation support, UVC/UAC care, IO placement, and chest needling as needed Monitor and manage critically ill patients using transport equipment and Epic documentation Deliver exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents in urgent, high-acuity situations Why Join This Portland Healthcare Team?
