\n Seeking a dynamic, team-oriented, founding Program Director for Sutter Medical Center Sacramento Children's Center pediatric residency program\n

\n The Program Director (PD) directs all operations of the Sutter Health Pediatrics Residency Program and clinical patient care provided by residents and faculty. The PD develops and leads strategic plans for high-quality resident recruitment, training, and retention. The PD provides residents with superb training experience while meeting ABP, ACGME, and Sutter Health institutional standards. In addition to this exciting administrative role, Sutter Medical Group provides comprehensive pediatric clinical opportunities in a highly collaborative, quality focused, integrated health system.\n

Qualifications:\n

  \n Board certification in pediatrics and/or pediatric subspecialty\n

\n
• \n

  \n Documented educational and administrative experience acceptable to the ACGME Pediatrics Review Committee.\n

\n
• Actively involved in clinical care of patients.
\n

\n

\n CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS \n

\n

\n
• Current California medical license and Board Certification in Pediatrics.
\n
• As required for appropriate clinical privileges.

Within our Children's Center residents will provide care for a diverse and medically complex pediatric population within a 40-bed general pediatric unit located in a tertiary care children s center.

• Northern California s largest NICU
\n
• Robust newborn nursery service
\n

  \n Dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department\n

  \n Physicians work closely with a comprehensive complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists, supported by a multidisciplinary team including social work, integrative medicine, pediatric pharmacy, and other pediatric-focused services.\n
