Offset Printing Press Operator Location: Groveport, OH 43125 Department: Hourly Plant & Mill (Except Maintenance Roles) Travel: No Travel Required Job Summary: The Offset Printing Press Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining an Offset Printing Press to efficiently and effectively manufacture folding cartons. Responsibilities Machine setup, adjustments, and make readies Troubleshooting of machine and quality issues Assist with maintenance and machine setups Completion of required product and process audits Exchange of information with shifts prior to/following work shift Adherence to quality specifications Identification of product/process enhancements to improve efficiencies, reduce downtime and spoilage Production schedule output and timeframes Effectively lead work crew to meet production goals Attend team meetings Train new team members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively Maintain a clean and safe work area Enforce compliance with all company policies (GMP/AIB/Safety) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior printing experience as Operator I or Operator II with related job duties Strong mechanical aptitude and in-depth understanding of printing concepts General math skills Ability to troubleshoot equipment and quality issues Post‑secondary education in printing technologies a plus Job Specifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift Ability to work weekends and holidays Visual color discrimination – ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team Pay & Hours Pay: Up to $35+ dependent on experience Shifts: Nights – Mill Shift, 7p to 7a; Days – Mill Shift, 7a to 7p Hours worked: 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week Night shift differential: $2 per hour Benefits Competitive pay 401(k) with employer matching Health, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage Short and long‑term disability Life insurance Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts Various voluntary benefits Adoption Assistance Program Employee Discount Programs Employee Assistance Program Tuition Assistance Program Paid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each year Equal Employment Opportunity Graphic Packaging International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
