Product Development Engineer

Overview Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions. The role involves technical communication support, project management of LPDDR DRAM projects, electrical analysis, and product characterization. Responsibilities Commute to client’s office and provide technical communication support in person. Act as liaison between business partners and Micron. Manage ongoing LPDDR DRAM projects. Use Micron’s internal engineering tester and measurement tools to perform electrical analysis in the Micron Lab and business partner’s Lab. Collaborate with engineering groups to resolve process/defect related issues. Support product characterization and electrical fault analysis using in‑house equipment. Develop high‑quality, cost‑effective mobile DRAM testing strategies. Define and secure necessary test fixtures for memory and system testing. Travel 50% of time internationally and domestically. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a related occupation. Improving back‑end testing coverage/quality for Mobile DRAM products. Developing Mobile DRAM test strategies. Statistical tools experience (JMP and Perl) for detailed data analysis. Data parsing and analysis to improve yields, test times, and product quality. Proficient with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Experience with AI tools such as Copilot. Ability to write system control scripts. Compensation US base salary range: $145,205 - $193,000.
