Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,922 per week

Job Summary American Traveler is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for a 9‑week travel assignment in Charleston, SC. Recent IR/Hybrid OR experience is required. Assignment Details Start Date: July 6, 2026 Duration: 9 weeks Hours: 40 per week, 8‑hour day shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM) Location: Charleston, SC On‑call: one week every four weeks May float to sister facilities as needed Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in Special Procedures/Vascular Interventional Radiology, or 2+ years as a radiologic technologist Recent IR/Hybrid OR experience required Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Professionals program Active SC or compact state license required SCRQSA Radiographer Certification required ARRT (R) certification required BLS through the American Heart Association required ARRT Vascular Interventional (VI) certification preferred Completion of an ARRT‑accredited Vascular Interventional Radiology program preferred Must live more than 50 miles from facility 2 professional references required Responsibilities Perform IR and special procedures imaging under the medical supervision of certified radiologists following established protocols Ensure patient care and safety during imaging procedures using age‑appropriate techniques Assist in obtaining informed consent and communicate procedure instructions to patients and family members Supervise and provide clinical education to student radiologic technologists Practice radiation safety in accordance with ALARA principles and applicable regulatory standards (DHEC, TJC, OSHA, FDA) Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with radiologists and the imaging team Travelers who reach one calendar year on assignment must take a 30–60 day break before returning to a new assignment at this facility Benefits Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined Premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance beginning day one Generous 401(k) match Substantial housing stipend 24/7 support and access to in‑house clinicians About American Traveler American Traveler has over 25 years of experience, specializing in travel nursing and allied health careers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
