Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Tampa, FL Thriveworks is seeking licensed and board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide telemedicine and in‑person care to a diverse client population, primarily adults and adolescents. Compensation Fee‑for‑Service (W2) position. Annual salary range: $130,000 – $187,000, based on 25–35 clinical hours per week. Practice Expectations Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations in both telemedicine and in‑person settings. Treat clients aged 14 and older. Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed. Create and collaborate on individualized care plans. Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools. Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines. Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on client care, programs, and services across sites. Qualifications Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certification required. Master’s degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state. Experience with the AdvancedMD EMR system is a plus. Minimum 1 year of psychiatric practice; 3 years of experience is a plus. Compliance with state licensing and residency requirements. Completion of an in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and a certification exam (all new hires are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and expected to treat ADHD clients).
