Radiology - MRI

MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are primarily from 11A to 7P, with some variability as needed.

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort while obtaining quality images for diagnostic interpretation. The role requires interaction with patients and healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal care.

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient identification and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the MRI suite and related equipment.
• Provide excellent patient care and handle imaging requests promptly.

• One year of MRI experience required.
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
