Supplier Quality Engineer

Your Contribution

• Issues and facilitates supplier corrective action process.
• Issues cost recovery reports.
• Manage supplier quality KPI
• Evaluate and approve Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier quality engineering and/or process changes
• Maintains records of and controls disposition of "Hold For Inspection" (discrepant) items.
• Assures Customer Specific Requirements are met by suppliers
• Interact and support new product launches team for purchase parts related topics
• Participate and/or lead Problem Solving projects
• Conduct inspections of products and provide training of team members requiring guidance.
• Ensure manufacturing documentation includes customer and internal requirements to ensure first time quality product.

Your Experience & Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer with the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities
• T1 Automotive Manufacturing experience required
• IATF16949 experience required.
• VDA auditor certified preferred
• ERP Systems experience required; SAP preferred
• PPAP, APQP experience required
• Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus
