Description

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role supports daily school operations by ensuring classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained in accordance with health and safety standards.


Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous custodial or facilities experience preferred, especially in a school or childcare setting

Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment

Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals appropriately

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Ability to pass background checks required for working in a school environment

Collaborates positively and effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrates effective critical thinking skills.

Requires skill in the use of personal computers.

Salary Description


$25.00 per hour
