What You’ll be Doing: As a Technical Writer, you will support the development and enhancement of technical documentation for the organization. You will work more independently, assisting in gathering detailed technical information and drafting comprehensive documents. Your role will involve collaborating with technical staff to ensure accuracy and completeness, contributing to the effective use of products by end-users. Key Tasks: Draft and edit detailed technical documents with minimal supervision. Conduct detailed interviews with technical staff to gather comprehensive product information. Review and adhere to advanced documentation templates and guidelines. Proofread documents for grammar, consistency, and clarity. Assist in the development of technical illustrations and diagrams. Conduct initial testing of documentation for usability and accuracy. Manage document versions and updates independently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets user needs. Utilize advanced documentation tools for content creation and management. Ensure all documentation maintains consistency with company editorial standards. You’re a Great Fit if You Have: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience. Technical Writing: Intermediate ability to draft and edit comprehensive technical documents. Information Gathering: Proficiency in conducting detailed information gathering from technical experts. Proofreading: Enhanced skills in reviewing documents for consistency and clarity. Document Management: Independent management of document versions and updates. Collaboration: Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Illustration Development: Ability to assist in creating technical illustrations and diagrams. Documentation Tools: Proficiency in advanced tools for content creation and management. Editorial Standards: Consistent adherence to company terminology and editorial guidelines. Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
