SUD Initiatives Administrator
Under the general supervision of the Director of SUD Initiatives, the SUD Initiatives Administrator provides oversight, management and coordination for all activities within the SUD Initiatives Department. This position is also responsible for the overall design and implementation of the SUD Complex Case Management Program.
Principal duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight, management and coordination for all activities within the SUD Initiatives Department
- Overseeing the design and ongoing implementation of the SUD Complex Case Management Program
- Aligning clinical practice models to evidence-based, best or promising practices
- Monitoring performance indicators, recidivism, and level of care appropriateness
- Convening collaborative workgroups to resolve implementation issues and/or barriers
- Analyzing the service delivery system and making recommendations to DWIHN regarding service needs
- Reviewing the budget and funding stream and making recommendations for Board Actions
- Developing and maintaining working relationships with primary and specialty care providers
- Providing training and technical assistance
- Representing DWIHN at other forums assigned by the Director of SUD Initiatives or their designee
- Supervising program and support staff as assigned
- Developing and monitoring productivity and efficiency standards
- Preparing appropriate reports on clinical practices and activities including providing corrective action plans for noted deficiencies
- Participating in audits and reviews, including HSAG and NCQA standards
- Trouble-shooting and reducing BHTEDS issues and errors
- Coordinating, leading and managing program reviews / site visits
- Participating in meetings and committees assigned
- Performing additional related duties as assigned

Required education:
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing (a Bachelor's Degree will be accepted), Human Services, the Social Services or a related field.
Required experience:
Three (3) years of professional experience as a supervisor, manager, project manager or performing academic research in a human service or social service field.
And at least two (2) years of professional experience training staff in clinical services.
Required license(s):
A Valid State of Michigan clinical licensure: RN, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LLP or PhD.
CAADC, CADC or CCS certification preferred.
