We are IMMEDIATELY seeking a Full-Time Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our organization! This is an established classroom, and we would love to see a strong, dedicated teacher with leadership skills

Who We Are:

Our licensed facility provides care for children from birth through 5 years. We have been in business in central Columbia for 30 years! We started as a single classroom with a vision to provide low-cost, quality educational experiences to families in Columbia. Our program has grown through the years, but we remain dedicated to our mission. We are currently looking for teachers for our Infant and Toddler classrooms.

• Instruct infant-aged children (birth - 24 months) in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Communicating with parents and caregivers about their child's progress
• Monitoring the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Collaborating with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program

MUST HAVE:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• 3-9 hours of ECE college credit - (Can help with this)
• Passionate about working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with classroom management techniques
• The ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

BEFORE Hire we will require :

• Background screening with DESE/OoC
• Fingerprinting with MSHP

AFTER Hire, we require the following:

• physical (within 30 days of employment)
• TB test and TB risk assessment filled out (within 30 days of employment)
