Growing together.About the Facility: Mesilla Valley Hospital is a 120-bed psychiatric and detox facility that overlooks the city of Las Cruces. The grounds around the hospital are attractively landscaped for general outdoor activities and the facility includes special areas for patient activities: a multipurpose room, gymnasiums, ropes courses, outdoor swimming pool and tennis court, computer lab, classrooms, and activity therapy rooms. The hospital provides services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.As a per diem Staff Pharmacist at Mesilla Valley Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.About the Pharmacy: This centralized pharmacy utilizes HCS. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am-12:00noon.Schedule: This position is scheduled to work two weekends per month, both Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00am-12:00noon, and very occasionally weekdays to help cover staff PTO, as needed.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacyCurrent New Mexico Pharmacist license in good standingExperience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systemsDemonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concernsDemonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work settingDemonstrated effective communications skills, both verbal and writtenPreferred Qualification:Experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or retail settingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
