TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63131!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required. Minimum of 1 year CV ICU experience preferred. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Preferred: CPI, OCN, TNCC. Must-Have: BCLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required. Strong, independent experienced nurses needed to float between multiple ICUs. Nurses will float to various ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac, Client, Medicine, and COVID units. The nurse will support inpatient floors when ICU needs are low. Nurse will be utilized as a patient sitter if necessary. Patient ratios are 2:1 in ICUs and no more than 1:3 on inpatient floors. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Description: The position requires strong critical care skills and the ability to adapt to varied nursing environments. Floating to multiple ICUs is expected based on hospital needs. ICU experience is essential with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. Additional preferred skills may include knowledge of hemodynamic interpretation and vent management. Floating may include serving in non-critical care units if the census is low. There is an emphasis on teamwork and effective communication within the float staff. Nurses should have the capability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. Embarking on this role requires a commitment to ongoing education and compliance with nursing standards.
