Warehouse Associate (Woodstock)

Warehouse Associate Woodstock Home Hardware Building Centre is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient receiving, handling, storage, and movement of merchandise while providing exceptional support to both customers and team members. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and process warehouse shipments and vendor-direct orders accurately and efficiently. Organize, stock, and maintain inventory within the warehouse and sales floor areas. Assist customers with product loading and inquiries while delivering outstanding customer service. Support store operations through a sales-oriented approach and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, dollies, and ladders, in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational and customer service goals. Participate in inventory management and other warehouse-related duties as required. Qualifications Forklift certification and/or demonstrated forklift operating experience required. Previous retail experience, preferably in paint and paint-related products. Strong customer service and communication skills. Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Comfortable performing repetitive bending, lifting, carrying, and other physically demanding tasks. Experience using ladders, pallet jacks, hand carts, and dollies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Availability Must be available to work a versatile schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
