Registered Nurse RN Surgical Services OR Full Time - Jackson Registered Nurse RN - Surgical Services OR - Jackson Full Time - 8:30am - 9:00pm. Rotating Weekends (approx. 4 weekends/per year) plus 1 Spring and 1 Winter Holiday requirement. On-call requirements -4 shifts per 6 week schedule (7p - 7a) with possible weekend call being Sat/Sun day or midnight shift. Minimum of 1 year Surgical Services/OR/Inpatient experience required. Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. If ADN, must enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date, obtain your BSN within 5 years of start date. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).
