Contract | 3x12-hour mid shifts | 36-hour weekly guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-room emergency department, including a six-room observation unit and six fast track beds
• Manage and monitor patients across a broad acuity spectrum including trauma, cardiac, and neurological presentations
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 in a Level IV Trauma Center environment
• Collaborate with support staff including technicians and advanced practice providers to deliver timely, high-quality care
• Utilize Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication management system for documentation and medication administration

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an emergency room setting
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current PALS and TNCC certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level IV Trauma Center
• Familiarity with Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication systems
• Experience managing high patient volumes in a fast-paced emergency department
