Corrections LVN Nights
Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in a correctional facility in Huntsville, Texas. Provide vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and administer medications.
- Perform IV therapy and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Float between units within a 10-30 minute radius as needed.
Schedule:
- Night shifts.
- 36 hours/week guaranteed, with potential overtime.
- Flexibility for shift rotations and floating required.
Qualifications:
- Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.
- BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
- 2+ years nursing experience, 1+ year in acute care or med-surg.
- Experience in LTAC, ER, skilled nursing, or psych preferred.
Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.
- Adaptability and professionalism in challenging situations.
