Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times: 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital operating room setting, including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation distributed equally among nursing staff, which may include up to 6–8 on-call shifts per 6-week period, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
• Float between like units within the facility or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed
• Work weekends as required and cover occasional night shifts within the contract as needed
• Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to fulfill on-call, weekend, and holiday obligations as outlined

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care operating room environment
• Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles across multiple surgical specialties
• Experience floating between units or sister facilities
