SOC Analyst II

Piper Companies is hiring SOC Analyst II in the Fulton, Maryland area. The SOC Analyst II will join a global technology leader dedicated to connecting and protecting organizations through innovative, AI‑powered solutions that drive secure and resilient digital experiences. This position is a long-term open-ended contract opportunity, and the SOC Analyst II will need to sit on site in the Fulton, Maryland area 2 days a week. Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst II Use Splunk to analyze, review, and respond to security alerts. Conduct Tier2 incident investigations and escalate issues as needed. Leverage security tools including Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Config. Monitor and secure AWS cloud environments.
