Patient Care Technician - Emergency Room (PCT)

Emergency Department Ambassador
This position is responsible for warmly assisting patients, family members, and visitors in the Emergency Dept. Provides direction and information regarding internal hospital services. Is an ambassador of Deaconess Memorial Medical Center, cultivating an atmosphere of courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity, and optimism; thereby creating a favorable impression of the hospital and its mission. Demonstrates knowledge of developmental needs of patient population specific to that department.
Eligible for weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent or actively enrolled in high school
Preferred Certification/Licenses/Experience:
- Training/experience in customer service
- CPR Provider-C
