Job Description

JOB LOCATION: CASPER, WYOMING

An Express Employment Professionals client is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and weld metal components for heavy steel products such as truck bodies, buckets, cable reels, and tanks.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on horizontal and vertical welds (1/16' & 3/32' wire)
Read and follow blueprints, welding procedures, and supervisor instructions
Use air arc, grinders, and needle chippers to remove slag and smooth welds
Inspect welds for quality and rework as needed
Operate overhead cranes and hoists safely
Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

MIG welding experience required
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Must pass ESCO in-house weld and bend tests written and practical
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work at heights
Reliable attendance and strong safety focus

Education/Experience:

1 Year Certificate from College or technical School
3-6 months experience

Work Environment:

Heavy steel fabrication facility
Exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and overhead lifting
