HVAC Install Trade Manager

What You’ll Do: Lead, manage, and support installation teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate workmanship, ensure adherence to installation procedures, and verify compliance with safety standards and building codes Oversee project execution by managing labor, materials, and resources to drive cost efficiency while meeting deadlines Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction Develop and manage daily and weekly schedules for installation crews, coordinating workloads to ensure timely and efficient job completion Provide expert guidance on the installation of residential HVAC systems, including central air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems Supervise system startups, perform performance checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all systems meet operational and company standards before completion Ensure all installations strictly adhere to national HVAC and electrical codes, as well as state and local regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times Accurately complete and review all required documentation, including job details, system specifications, permits, and compliance reports Utilize ServiceTitan or similar field service software to track job progress, manage workflows, and maintain accurate service and installation records What You’ll Bring: 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience (supervisory or management role highly preferred) HVAC certification or formal training from a technical or trade school preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate multiple projects, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers and resolve issues professionally Highly organized with proven ability to manage schedules, materials, labor, and deadlines across multiple jobs Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, installation best practices, troubleshooting methods, and system optimization Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Experience with ServiceTitan or similar trade management software is preferred Compensation & Details: Pay: $100,000 – $120,000 annually (plus performance‑based bonuses) Job Type: Full‑Time What We Offer: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance:Affordable, comprehensive coverage 401(K) with Company Match:Plan for your future with confidence Company-Paid Long-Term Disability & Life Insurance:Security and peace of mind Voluntary Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance:Additional protection tailored to your needs Paid Time Off:Vacation, holidays, and sick time to support work-life balance Folkes Home Services May conduct a preemployment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law.
