Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Evaluations

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to become a part of our team, focusing on medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records through a secure online portal and conduct thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Examine and interpret electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Carefully document findings from assessments and complete necessary VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve providing treatment or prescribing medications. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is responsible for making disability determinations, not the provider.

Position Overview:

• Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days a week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Location: Hybrid, combining Telehealth and in-person evaluations.
• Caseload: Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

Desired Qualifications:

• A compassionate Psychologist with a commitment to assisting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities for reviewing medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.

Requirements:

• Possesses a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program.
• Holds an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.
