Dental HygienistCommunity Health Centers of Burlington is seeking a full time Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality dental care to CHCB patients. CHCB's Dental Hygienists are responsible for evaluating patient oral health, dental/medical history, dental complaints, and completing dental hygiene procedures in a public health setting. Come join our awesome team of dental professionals!Basic QualificationsVermont State License in Dental Hygienist with Local Anesthetic EndorsementCurrent CPR/AED Certification3 years of experience desired but not required; new graduates welcome!Knowledge, Skills and AbilityComprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of oral hygiene and periodontal careAbility to work and communicate with a large group of professionals; dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and leadership staffKnowledge of dental medical emergenciesKnowledge of public health, social and economic factors that impact the health and oral health of patientsThe ability to travel to other CHCB locations as necessaryCHCB Dental benefits (if applicable):Dental scrub allocation for new employeesVermont licensure renewal reimbursement for licensed rolesPaid CE time (additional to allotted CTO) and CE funds for licensed applicable rolesStudent loan repayment opportunities through outside agencies such as NHSC and PSLFCHCB Dental clinical space offers:Updated clinical operatory spaceSchick sensor x-ray software/technologyPanoramic imagingNextgen Medical/Dental recordHufriedy/Dentsply/American Eagle hygiene instruments, cassettes assigned per providerTap-on Cavitron/prophy polisher available in each hygiene opDental hygiene specifics:All adult prophies 60 min+ appointment time – provider (dental hygienist) has the ability to add time to appointments as necessaryFlexibility with working hours – create your "ideal" schedule!3 active dental sites – option to work at 1, 2 or all 3 once full orientatedCHCB employees enjoy comprehensive benefits including:- Monthly stipend for those with alternate health insurance- Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Account- Excellent Dental and Vision coverage- Life insurance, AD&D, Short Term/Long Term Disability, Accident Insurance, and Critical Illness Insurance- 401K via Vanguard, as well as fiduciary services via Morgan Stanley (Employer contribution of 3% of your annual salary after 1 year of service regardless of personal contributions)- Continuing Education funds for licensed applicable roles; pooled departmental funds as allowed for other roles- Generous Accrued CTO in addition to 8 paid annual Holidays (6 fixed, 2 floating)- Employee Assistance Program available to all household members- Local discounts and perks at fitness, restaurants, and local businesses!
