Incentive $2000 New Hire General Education Teacher Incentive for the 2026-27 School Year Position Kindergarten Teacher at Lahontan Elementary School Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and qualify for a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education. Required License Must possess or be able to possess a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education. Role Definition The teacher provides instruction to students including preparation, assessment, and management. Salary $46,049 minimum - $92,806 maximum depending on experience and education, scheduled 183 days per year. Additional pay: SB500 funds will be added for the 26-27 school year. Benefits Nevada PERS retirement contribution, health, dental, vision and life insurance. Sick leave and personal leave included. Nevada has no state income tax.
