Hematology - Oncology Physician (Locum Tenens)

Pay Rate: $388.00 - $420.00 per hour

This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and Requirements

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM clinic hours for 3-4 months beginning January 4, 2027
• Call coverage 7 days per week through May 15, 2027
• Inpatient rounding up to 2 hours daily as needed; provider not required to be in-house for call

Practice Setting: Hybrid – outpatient clinic with inpatient consult rounding.

Scope of Practice:

• Hematology/Oncology patient care
• Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, chemotherapy treatment planning, and emergency response to medication side effects
• Consults only; no admissions or discharges required

Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Certifications Required: Board Certified

Licensure Required: Active Indiana medical license and DEA registration (or one that can be easily transferred and remain in Indiana)
