Analytics Engineer
Location: Chicago, Dallas, NC preferred - Remote is Open
A growing logistics/real estate operation focused on improving and servicing modern warehouse and delivery challenges especially the 'last mile distribution' in metropolitan areas for its enterprise and specialty clients.
As an Analytics Engineer, you are enabling rapid growth at a company with huge potential. Your ability to create high performing data modeling tools will support unique products, analytics and the day-to-day business of Link Logistics. You'll collaborate with analysts, data scientists, architects, front-end developers and data engineers.
- Contribute to building the data modeling layer, using our data and code guides to expose clean data to the whole company
- Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code: version control, code reviews, unit, and integration testing
- Drive a collaborative culture of best practices in Analytics Engineering across your team and Data Analysts, and Data Science roles
- Bring technical knowledge and data insights to collaborations across technical functions and with the business
- Enable analyst users with accurate and accessible data via a documented data mart, e.g., Looker
- 2+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, or Analyst with demonstrated engineering abilities.
- Strong Analytical SQL Experience – must be proficient
- Experience with Data Transformation (preferably DBT) in modern data warehouse (Snowflake, Redshit, GBQ, etc.)
- Experience with the command line and GIT
- Experience with DBT – data build tool
- Experience with Python
- Strong Analytic-thinking – possess an investigative mind-set
