BC/BE Critical Care Intensivist

University of Michigan Health Partners (UMHP) is seeking a full-time BC/BE Critical Care Intensivist to join its hospital-employed practice in Lansing, Michigan. UMHP delivers exceptional care in a diverse, family-friendly community and is dedicated to improving access to healthcare across Mid-Michigan.

Position Highlights

• Closed critical care units providing 52 beds of state-of-the-art care to the patients of Mid-Michigan
• Intensivists provide 24-hour medical management for the sickest patients, with opportunities for procedures and fellow/resident/student teaching
• Flexible schedule - 12 hour shifts
• Night shift preferred
• Average census: 12-15 patients
• Advanced Practice Provider support
• Certified Stroke Center of Excellence | Level 1 Trauma Center
• EPIC EMR
• Located in a B1G University city

Job Requirements

General Requirements Eligible for Board Certification within five (5) years of completing an accredited residency program

Education MD or DO

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job.
