Assistant Product Specialist #HIRING

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Product Specialist to join our team in Omaha, NE. What You’ll Do Develop a strong understanding of assigned engineered products and their applications. Prepare accurate and timely quotations and technical documentation. Communicate with customers via phone, email, virtual meetings, and occasional in-person visits or tradeshows. Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and other departments to deliver high-quality solutions. Uphold our Core Values of Caring, Adding Value, and Teamwork in every interaction. What We’re Looking For Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other Office applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records in a CRM system. Familiarity with technical drawings or CAD is a plus, but not required. Post‑high school education and prior customer service or project experience preferred. Work Environment This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in Omaha, NE. Hybrid work may be considered after six months, based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities Develop a deep knowledge of assigned engineered products and their applications. Prepare accurate and timely quotations and technical documentation for customers. Communicate with customers via telephone, email, virtual calls and occasional on‑site visits and tradeshows. Consult with Engineered Product Specialists, Market Development Managers, or other relevant staff on high‑risk or long‑term decisions. Make case‑by‑case decisions on pricing, discounting, credit requests, or quality issues in collaboration with the Engineered Product Specialist. Support Quality and EHS policies and uphold company Core Values of Caring, Adding Value, and Teamwork. Qualifications Ability to type 50+ words per minute with high accuracy. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Attention to detail and ability to document, communicate, and monitor data points. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Teams, and a CRM system. Post‑high school education and prior customer service or project experience preferred. Familiarity with engineered drawings, CAD, or ability to read drawings preferred but not required.
