Marketing Associate -Japanese Bilingual

Japanese language proficiency is a MUST! Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) Position: Marketing Associate Industry: Entertainment Status: Full-time, Exempt Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000/year Summary of the Position A global entertainment company is seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Marketing Associate to support marketing initiatives across North America and Latin America. This role focuses on social media, promotional campaigns, and event-based marketing activities to drive brand awareness and support licensed content and merchandise. The position will work closely with internal teams, international stakeholders, and external partners. Key Responsibilities Plan and support marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness Manage and assist with social media and experiential marketing activities Analyze trends and insights to support marketing strategies Coordinate and support cross-promotional initiatives with partners Track distribution and licensing plans as needed Prepare presentations and marketing materials Attend and support industry events and conventions (approximately 3 times per year) Collaborate with internal teams and international stakeholders to obtain approvals Review and support marketing asset approvals from third-party partners Qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English Understanding of Japanese business culture Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Bachelor’s degree required Technical Skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is a plus Additional Requirements Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business needs Ability to work at industry events and conventions Preferred Qualifications Interest or experience in entertainment or related industries Passion for anime or pop culture #J-18808-Ljbffr Pasona N A, Inc.
