Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (4HH East) Sentara Heart Hospital – Norfolk, VA $70.00/hr pay rate Temporary Full Time 14-week assignment Day Shift No benefits Department Overview This 24-bed cardiac surgical/procedural IMCU provides care to pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients, including bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac procedures such as ablations, left atrial appendage closure, ICDs, and permanent pacemakers. The unit also provides a high level of care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and chest pain. Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety, and teamwork RNs handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level; at times, RNs may care for up to 5 patients depending on staffing Join the Cardiac Procedural/Surgical IMCU Team – we are committed to providing opportunities for training, development, and growth.
