Job Title

Responsible for general receptionist, registration, and billing duties in a physician office setting.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manages phones
• Greets patients
• Schedules/confirms appointments
• Enters demographics & patient information
• Verifies insurance coverage, complete forms, collect co-pays
• Balances cash
• Maintains schedule in EMR system, and processes pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience Preferred: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 2. Individual must be customer and employee focused, must have demonstrated ability to multi-task 3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
