SUPPLY CHAIN SENIOR ANALYST

Job Description

This role supports the Small Product Network Planning team by driving demand forecasting, fulfillment optimization, and inventory placement strategies. The position leverages strong analytical skills to improve network efficiency, enhance customer experience, and ensure products are available in the right locations to support fast, cost-effective fulfillment. The successful candidate will use data-driven insights to solve complex problems, optimize inventory investments, and maximize overall network performance.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Generate customer shipping and pickup volume forecasts used by cross-functional partners to support operational and capacity planning.
• Establish network utilization targets that determine when and how fulfillment locations should be leveraged to optimize product shipping.
• Drive continuous improvements in forecasting accuracy and inventory placement strategies to increase shipping efficiency and network optimization.
• Monitor in-stock levels and partner with inventory and replenishment teams to ensure appropriate inventory flow to specialty fulfillment locations.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships and communicate insights, recommendations, and performance results to key stakeholders.

Basic qualifications

• 2 or more years of Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Distribution/Transportation, Business or Retail
• Proficiency in Excel with lookups, formulas, and pivots

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
• Experience with Power BI
• 3 or more years in inventory management, supply chain, distribution/transportation, business or retail
