Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $121,000 - $152,000 plus applicable bonuses Company-funded retirement contribution of 15% of eligible earnings Generous time-away and health benefits from day one, with flexible work options 2-for-1 matching gifts for charitable contributions and annual grants to organizations you support On-demand professional development resources Position Summary As a Divisional Retirement Plan Counselor, you will work closely with the Retirement Plan Counselor to drive sales initiatives in the Retirement Plan Sales market, identifying firm and representative needs and coordinating efforts to serve those needs. You will educate, train, and motivate financial advisers and intermediaries within a sales division to raise and retain assets for Capital Group, building retirement plan sales momentum. Key Responsibilities Deliver motivational and informative presentations to financial advisors and partners. Set goals and measure performance against them. Apply a consultative skill set to sell through financial intermediaries. Collaborate with senior sales force members to identify opportunities for better Plan Sponsor and investor outcomes. Spend approximately 60% of time engaging advisors in person and 40% virtually. Travel extensively as part of the role. Territory Chicago, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota & Dakotas Qualifications 5+ years of financial services sales experience. Proven experience in third-party distribution, mutual fund business, and retirement plan sales, with a demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships. Track record of sales success in Retirement Plan Sales. Ability to leverage technology to create custom analysis. Strong communication skills and sales experience in the registered investment advisor space. Proficiency in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner. Licenses: Series 6 or 7 (or willing to obtain Series 7) and Series 63/65 or 66, plus one or more of AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, and CFA.
