Kuakini Health System is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13-week contract assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working a rotating schedule in a clinical healthcare environment.

Position Details

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week
• Must be willing to work rotating day/evening shifts
• Weekend availability required
• Must maintain an active state license/required credentials, as applicable
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Additional certifications may be considered based on facility requirements

Facility Information

Kuakini Health System is a 150-500 bed facility located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The facility is designated as a Level III Trauma Center and utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical record system.

Additional Information

• Holiday coverage may be required based on the facility schedule.
• Holiday eligibility is determined by the shift start time.
• The facility is not affiliated with Hawaii Health Systems Corporation and does not require the same state compliance process as HHSC.
• Candidates do not need to be contracted in advance to be considered for staffing at Kuakini.
• The facility does not accept 1099 arrangements.
