IT Financial Reporting Analyst

Duration: 06+ Months Location: 2 Broadway NYC NY 10004 (Hybrid) Position Type: Contract Interview Type: In-Person/ Webcam Hybrid Role Details: This is a hybrid role with 3 days on site (or more as needed) and 2 days remote. Job Description The organization is seeking an experienced Consultant to support and manage financial reporting responsibilities across the full IT landscape. The consultant will play a critical role providing and improving financial visibility and accountability. Responsibilities Maintain, support, and improve the reporting used to communicate spend insights to stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and clarity of financial reporting. Required / Desired Skills Strong understanding of financial operations. Financial reporting and analysis. Budgeting/forecasting. Accounting – ability to manage/book accruals/reversals/pre-paids/CapEx etc. Cost allocation. IT Department Operations/Financials. Contract management. Power BI dashboards – building and maintaining. PeopleSoft financials or similar ERP systems – sourcing/mining data and researching accounting and procurement transactions. ServiceNow – sourcing/mining data and researching transactions (ITFM, CMDB, APM etc). Additional Skills Analytical and detail oriented, with strong problem‑solving skills. Effective communicator capable of facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable working with large, complex financial datasets and evolving frameworks. Prior experience working with or supporting organizations within the MTA a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr V Group Inc.
