Qualifications:

\n

\n

Required

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related discipline).
\n
• Experience performing RAMS activities in the rail, transportation, heavy industry, or related sectors.
\n
• Working knowledge of reliability engineering principles and RAMS methodologies.
\n
• Experience conducting FMECA, FTA, hazard analysis, and risk assessments.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and project teams.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n

Preferred

\n

\n
• Experience supporting rail transit or rolling stock projects.
\n
• Familiarity with FRACAS processes and reliability demonstration programs.
\n
• Experience with Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and maintenance optimization.
\n
• Knowledge of industry RAMS standards and safety processes.
\n
• Experience analyzing warranty, field failure, or operational performance data.
\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• deliver project RAMS documentation according to project schedules for rolling stock subsystems such as brakes, couplers, pantograph, inverters, trucks.
\n
• Interface with customers, engineering teams, and project stakeholders to ensure RAMS requirements are fully understood and implemented.
\n
• Review RFPs and assess contractual RAMS requirements, and identify risks, gaps, and mitigations
\n
• Perform reliability and maintainability analyses to verify that product designs and system configurations meet target performance objectives.
\n
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, hazard analyses, and define appropriate mitigation measures.
\n
• Perform safety analyses using methodologies such as: FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD)
\n
• Develop maintenance strategies and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analyses to optimize maintenance costs while maintaining reliability and safety objectives.
\n
• Support reliability demonstration programs, FRACAS activities, and performance reporting.
\n
• Utilize predictive analytics and failure data to support business and engineering decision-making.
\n
• Analyze field return and operational experience data to improve RAMS databases and standard product information.
