Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider with over 600 providers in 280+ sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. Internship Overview This part‑time internal communications internship supports the Texas Oncology Corporate Marketing Team by managing distribution lists, communication templates, gathering data on communication platforms, and assisting with administrative tasks for internal events. Responsibilities Assist planning and coordination of internal events, including scheduling, developing communications/invitations, and post‑event surveys. Support creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly email digests. Monitor and track internal communications email campaigns and events, providing regular updates and survey results. Create engaging content (graphics, copy, videos) to boost internal communications engagement. Monitor team email for requests, questions, and follow‑up opportunities. Collect and edit content from different teams to maintain consistency and relevance. Assist the internal communication team with day‑to‑day tasks and projects as needed. Conduct research to stay updated on internal communications trends and best practices. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field. Junior or Senior year of college. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of Microsoft O365 platforms and digital marketing principles. Must be based in Texas. Preferences Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
