Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Beginning August 12th and running through May 29th, you'll dedicate your expertise to supporting a carefully managed caseload. You’ll have 37.5 hours per week across five days, collaborating with fellow educators and leveraging your skills to deliver tailored learning strategies that foster classroom engagement and success.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Special Education (TX SPED) certification
- Certified to teach Math and Science
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience working with secondary students preferred
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implement interventions
Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated instruction in Math and Science to secondary-age students
- Develop and maintain IEPs, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
- Maintain organized and accurate records for compliance
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
- Adapt lesson plans to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
