What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help support authorized access for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and communicating clearly with clients, visitors, and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
