Requirements

• Infection Control License
• Licensed dental hygienist

Licensure: Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Skills: Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and periodontal assessment.
Attributes: A "team-first" mentality with a proactive willingness to help with clinical assisting duties when needed.
Compliance: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques for infection control.
Professionalism: Excellent interpersonal skills and a gentle clinical touch.

Job Description

Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing with a meticulous focus on patient comfort.
Diagnostic Imaging: Operate medical imaging equipment (Dexis) to capture precise radiographs for comprehensive patient assessments.
Patient Advocacy: Review medical histories, conduct thorough periodontal assessments, and provide personalized health education and counseling to patients of all ages.
Interdisciplinary Support: Assist the doctor with chairside duties and four-handed dentistry during hygiene downtime to maintain efficient office flow.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain pristine digital records and patient charts using Open Dental, ensuring strict HIPAA compliance and aseptic standards.
Practice Partnership: Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to help refine and improve the patient experience as the practice grows.
