Registered Nurse (RN) - ED - Emergency Department - $35-56 per hour

Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) – Night Shift (Part‑Time, 12‑hour nights). The role focuses on direct patient care in a 24‑hour adult emergency department, with responsibilities including assessment, care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient advocacy. Responsibilities Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and the patient, family or caregiver. Proactively plan and ensure communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Promote respect, equity, and empathy in interactions with diverse and vulnerable populations, supporting emotional, spiritual, and cultural preferences. Practice collaborative problem solving, service recovery, and advocacy for patient family‑centered continuity of care. Implement care by integrating data from the interprofessional team and applying critical thinking in a safe and timely manner. Demonstrate commitment to the ongoing advancement of nursing clinical practice through community health events, professional organization membership, quality improvement, and continuing education. Evaluate changes in patient condition, inform and collaborate with family and/or caregivers, and communicate with the interprofessional team; update the plan of care in the EMR as needed. Ensure evidence‑based practice and quality patient outcomes by evaluating current nursing care. Maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely in a safety‑sensitive environment. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing. Experience: Supervisor Experience: None required. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license.
