Additional information about the company can be found online at Service Desk Analyst II - Houston, TX The Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact between end users and the IT Organization. The analyst is responsible for recording the details of reported IT service issues, service requests and working to either restore service as quickly as possible or alerting and/or escalating them to the appropriate next level support groups. This position requires technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service, written, and oral skills. Job role is required to participate in 24/7 On-Call rotation. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience 5-7 years minimum in-depth, hands-on support role on IT Service Desk or customer support environment Experience in working with desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) and Office suite Working knowledge of Service Desk software and remote-control tools Strong customer service orientation and communication skills Troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Experience with incident tracking software Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Experience supporting the latest versions of Windows Client OS and Microsoft Office Suites Experience with Freshservice Incident management Experience providing Mobile device support Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory & Azure Familiarity with the Energy industry Required Education Associate’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent experience Preferred Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hiring.
