Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN for a Travel Intensive Care Unit position in Fort Wayne, IN. This role involves working in a mixed acuity unit, handling primarily progressive patients and some critical care cases. Key Responsibilities of the RN ICU
- Care for ventilated patients
- Initiate and titrate IV drips (vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics)
- Assist with intubations and line placement
- Monitor critically ill patients with illnesses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and myocardial infarctions
- Utilize equipment such as Phillips heart monitors, Epic (EMR), and Pyxis
Requirements of the RN ICU
- Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience
- BLS (AHA only) and ACLS (AHA only) certifications
- Valid IN RN License
- Preferred: Travel experience and experience in Level 1 or Level 2 facility
- Flexibility and strong critical thinking skills
