Title: CT/ Rad Tech

Location: Monroe North Carolina

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36 Shift Information: Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday nights 8p-8a and one holiday requirement on Wednesday night 11/25 10p-630a Clinical Interviewing: No On Call, Call Back Requirements: None Weekend Rotation: yes primary shifts on weekends Holiday Requirements: Wednesday night 11/25 10:00p-6:30a (fulfilling out overnight thanksgiving position) Floating Requirements: None

About Facility:

• 182 licensed beds
• Trauma Level IV Designation
• Teaching Hospital
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center
• Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Department Information: Average patients/day across modalities: 325

Minimum Years of Experience required: at least 1 year

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Will see a variety of diagnoses across ED, Inpatient and Outpatient areas

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

• All modalities will require photo ID collected during compliance process
• NC State Licensure is not required
• Rad Tech: BLS; ARRT(R)
• CT Tech: BLS; ARRT(R) (CT)
• Dual Modality CT/DX: BLS; ARRT (R)(CT)
• MRI Tech: BLS; ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• US Tech: BLS; ARDMS (no specific anatomy cert required) or ARRT
• Nuc Med Tech: BLS; ARRT-N or NMTCB

Skills required:

• Varies based on modality discussed during interview
• Support within the Department:
• Nursing, Transport

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• Department specific Equipment: Siemens, Client

Floating: If yes, where: N/A

Orientation (facility and unit):

• NEO online courses
• 3-5 days departmental depending on modality

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: depends on position discussed during interview
• Call Required: Depends on modality discussed during interview
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO: Manager approval
• Shift times: Varies with modality. This will be listed on the e-form request
• Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
