About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid Nursing License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Strong teamwork skills - Positive attitude - Excellent customer service skills - Willingness to work in fast-track, triage, and with high acuity patients Description: This position involves working in the Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse. The nurse will be expected to provide care for a variety of patient ages, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census includes a diverse range of diagnoses and traumas, with a staffing ratio of 1 nurse to 3 patients. The role requires the ability to start and maintain IVs, perform triage, and handle high-acuity situations effectively. The nurse will not be required to be on-call, but they may need to float within the service line based on facility needs. Weekend shifts will be required, approximately every other weekend. The environment is fast-paced, and nurses must be adaptable and willing to assist in various areas as needed. Candidates must comply with all required health and safety protocols. There are no local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius. All request time off (RTO) must be finalized at the time of submission, and no additional requests will be accommodated after submission. This position is for a limited-term contract.
